Apple Launches IPhone 6S and IPhone 6S plus.
Like every year Apple launched its latest IPhone products IPhone 6S and IPhone 6S Plus. This year turned out to be a mind-boggling year for all tech geeks as big players like Microsoft and Google already created buzz by their innovative products like Windows 10, Hologram, Android pay etc. Now Apple took its turn by introducing 3-D touch.
The iPhones are the world’s most loved phones with amazing design and specifications.
Design
Almost the design of IPhone 6 and 6S is same. It is said that a different grade of Aluminium is used in its manufacture to improve its strength as complaints are received from previous launches regarding bent phones.
Processor
This time Apple is using A9 processor rather than A8 processor which is used in IPhone 6. As per the sources it is believed that the new A9 processor is 70 percent faster at CPU tasks and 90 percent faster at GPU tasks. Details regarding this are to be announced.
Both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S Plus have the expected features of Force Touch and 3D Touch, which gives you a new level of experience.
What is 3-D touch? How is it different from Force Touch?
Until now we are familiar with force touch introduced by Apple which pops out menu by pressing screen for long time. It distinguishes between normal tap and harder press. Now Apple again introduced an upgraded feature of force touch and named it as 3-D touch.3-D touch has mainly two functionalities, peek and pop. Peek can be done by pressing harder on app icon which allows us to look into main activities done through that app like consider Facebook app where updating status, take a picture etc. Pop is used to open up overlay of images, videos etc. and return back to previous place.
Camera
Apple after a long time has bumped its Camera’s megapixel count. Till it’s last release Apple didn’t increase megapixel count. But now it increased it from 8 MP to 12 MP. Front cam has also been upgraded from 1.2 MP to 5 MP to improve your selfie experience. Video recording has also been improved from 1080P to 4K. Live photos also added to camera where we can take a short video clip like GIFs alongside photo captured in the form.
Battery
To everybody’s shock the capacity of battery has been reduced from 1810 mAh to 1715 mAh. But it is defended that battery will be as same as the previous one. It is said that battery size has been reduced to make more space.
The new phones will be running on IOS9. In IOS9, the performance of SIRI and battery life are said to be improved.
Price
Now comes the price. The available models are 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB starting from $199 for iPhone 6S and $299 for iPhone 6S Plus on the two-year contracts.
There is also an iPhone Upgrade Program that can get you a new iPhone every year in a 24-month installment plan starting with $32 per month and includes AppleCare+.
IPhone 6S and 6S Plus will be open for pre-order from September 12 and in stores from September 25 onwards.
Well, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S plus could possibly be the most advanced smartphones in the world.
