Over years personal computing has seen a significant growth. From those mammoth sized computing machines that once occupied an entire room, computers has evolved to a simple gadget that could fit in your pocket.
And now they are reduced to the size of USB drives known as STICK PC’S. The Stick PC safely counts as a trend now.
Recently at the IFA 2015, ASUS has announced their first PC in the ‘compute stick’ form factor, the VivoStick PC.
The Asus VivoStick PC is an ultra-miniature PC that turns any HDMI-enabled TV or monitor into a fully-functional Windows 10 PC, and which can be controlled remotely from a Smartphone.
These compute sticks from ASUS are stylishly designed to mimic the fountain pen design and are slim and beautiful.
Getting in to the technical details, VivoStick PC is powered by a Intel’s 14nm Cherry Trail platform, has 2GB of DDR3L RAM and 32 GB of storage. With these exciting features, it can be used for essential daily computing.

It lacks an microSD expansion slot, which is a big disadvantage for this little device.The Asus VivoStick comes in a Blue, White and Black colors and is priced at an MSRP of $129 (Rs. 8,540 approx.).ASUS isn’t announcing a release date right now, but will be available soon.
Also the company has recently launched a Smartphone with a massive 256 GB internal memory.
