Moto E5 Soon to launch in India; Shows up on Amazon and Retail Poster

The poster of the prospective launch of Moto E5 handset was spotted outside a retail store in Delhi. The poster spotted by Tech PP reads, “New Moto E5 with 4,000mAh battery; 18:9 max vision display.” Other than this implication other inkling came from Amazon India where the device is already selling via third-party sellers. Notwithstanding the listed price at Rs 11,990 the Moto E5 smartphone is selling on Amazon India at a 10% discounted price of Rs 10,770. The discounted price is offered by a third-party vendor and not from Amazon India. But, one can avail various Amazon mobile offers on different smartphones.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has made public its Moto E5 series. The Moto E5 handset was launched in Brazil in April 2018 along with the five other Motorola handsets namely Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 Play, Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play in order to deliver to the most sought-after and entry-level segment.

Price and Availability:

The Moto E5 price most likely will be EUR 149 (around Rs. 11,900). In April this year, Motorola has promised for the prospective launch of two models in the Asia Pacific region (including India), Europe, and Latin America in the upcoming months. In consideration with Motorola upholding the release date and prices of the Moto E5 handsets in India till now, Motorola India is witnessed posting battery-related video teasers on its official Twitter account which indicates a soon to launch of Moto E5 in India.

The Moto E4 that was launched earlier has proved a big hit among the Indian consumers and with the intention of tempting more eyeballs, Motorola is about to introduce the Moto E5 in the Indian Market. The device boasts a metal unibody design, approaching the rounded edges on all sides and hence makes it hassle-free to hold and carry around. This particular time, the position of the fingerprint reader has changed in the smartphone from home button and has been integrated to the Motorola logo in the rear. The Moto E5 users have the option of recording multiple fingerprints. This time only two variants in this series are rumoured to make it to the Indian market, i.e. Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus. The Moto E5 Play is already restricted to the US market.

The Moto E5 from Motorola brings some basic hardware specifications but what makes this smartphone stand out from the crowd is its metal design with rounded edges which means getting rid of the chunky bezels of the older smartphones made to fit in a large full-screen display. Specifications:

The Moto E5 smartphone highlights a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and underlines an HD+ resolution of 720X 1440 pixels in this entry-level segment series by Motorola. However, it gets the 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 chip inside, with 3GB of RAM to support even the heavy gaming. The Moto E5 uses Stock user interface and runs on Android v8.0 (Oreo) operating system. The device will be available in both the dual and single-SIM (Nano SIM) variants as well. This powerful configuration of Moto E5 commits to the powerful performance while handling multitasking.
Battery and Camera

The Android 8.0 Oreo-based Moto E5 has a 13-megapixel rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash equipped with Autofocus and High Dynamic Range mode features. The primary lens is good for photography and videography. A 5 MP camera is present up front, which is accompanied by an LED flash to assist enthralling selfies even in low light conditions. The Moto E5 comes with a 4,000mAh Li-ion battery, which keeps the entertainment last for long hours.

The Moto E5 smartphone will be released in Flash Grey and Fine Gold colour options with the fingerprint sensor being embedded in the Motorola logo on the back of the smartphone. The Moto E5 also features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE A2DP, NFC (in single SIM variant only), the usual sensors, the micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 154.4×72.2×8.95mm and weighs a total of 174 grams.
